Every agency has an origin story. Ours just happens to start with margaritas — and a vision for doing life science marketing differently.

Co-founders Heather Beaudoin and Shannon Meirzon first met while working at a global life science company, where they saw the same challenge again and again: strong strategies, but not enough resources to put them into action.

In 2011, they launched Pyxis to change that. The goal was simple: build the kind of agency they wished they had as clients. Boutique by design, deeply rooted in life sciences, and committed to rolling up its sleeves to make sure projects didn’t just get planned but actually got done.
